Koppert announced a significant leadership change as René Koppert transitioned from his role as CEO and officially joined the company’s Supervisory Board on May 14. The decision, reached in close consultation with the Supervisory Board and the Koppert family, marks a new chapter for the company as it sharpens its focus on long-term growth and operational implementation.

Over the past 55 years, Koppert has grown from a small, family-run business into an international leader in sustainable crop protection and pollination solutions. In recent years, the company has made notable progress in refining its strategic focus, placing customers more centrally within the organization, and laying the groundwork for regionalization. With these foundations now firmly in place, Koppert is preparing to embark on the next phase of its growth journey.

“Having been closely connected to Koppert for many years, I feel a strong responsibility for the future of the company,” René Koppert remarked. “We are at a pivotal moment in our development, and now is the right time to bring in a CEO from outside the organization, someone with a fresh perspective and international experience, to further strengthen our global position.”

René Koppert is the longest-serving member of the company’s third generation, having dedicated 15 years to various leadership roles. Since his appointment as CEO in 2021, he has worked alongside the management team to navigate industry challenges, bolster the company’s organizational structure, and future-proof operations. Among his key achievements was initiating the decentralization of production and supply chain operations, coupled with significant investments to enhance Koppert’s global production capacity.

The search for a new CEO is actively underway, with René Koppert playing a direct role in identifying a successor who aligns with the company’s culture, values, and international ambitions.
