Airflo and Holex Launch Holex Air Logistics Joint Venture

Airflo and Holex Flower have joined forces to launch Holex Air Logistics, a new air freight division aimed at enhancing the speed and reliability of global flower transport.

This joint venture marks a strategic move to reinforce both companies’ logistics operations and streamline the international movement of cut flowers.

Bringing together skilled teams from both organizations, the new division will serve as a dedicated logistics provider within the Holex group. The focus is on creating faster, leaner transport solutions for floral products, with plans already underway to extend services to Holex’s branches in the United States, China, and South America.

Adapting to a Changing Supply Chain

“This collaboration is a direct response to shifts in the supply chain,” explains Paul Hoogenboom, Managing Director of Holex Flower. “As intermediaries fade out, exporters like us must develop more direct and efficient logistics strategies. Holex Air Logistics is a vital part of that strategy.”

Pim de Wit, Managing Director of Airflo Netherlands, shares the optimism: “The existing volume from Holex Flower alone justifies this venture. In time, we expect even greater growth through subsidiaries in Miami, Ecuador, and Kunming. It’s an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Holex.”
