Representatives from the German Embassy recently traded meeting rooms for muddy boots as they visited our farm during their annual outing, taking time to see first-hand how we grow, work, and employ.
Hosted by our management team, the visitors were given a guided tour of the farm, with stops across key production areas. Along the way, they learned more about our business model, our role in the local and export markets, and the day-to-day realities of running a modern farm. Beyond the technical aspects of production, the discussions also focused on our responsibilities as an employer: creating decent work, investing in skills, and maintaining a safe, respectful workplace. For us, openness and transparency are core values, and the visit provided exactly the right setting for that – honest conversations, thoughtful questions, and genuine curiosity on both sides.

Walking the fields together offered a different kind of dialogue than any formal meeting could. Seeing the crops in the ground, meeting staff on site, and discussing both opportunities and challenges in real time helped to create a much deeper and more practical understanding of our work.
The weather, often an unpredictable partner in farming, was largely cooperative on the day, making the tour more relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
We extend our sincere thanks to the team from the German Embassy for taking the time to visit us and engage so openly. The exchange was truly appreciated, and we look forward to continuing this dialogue in the future.
