Fruit Logistica will return to Berlin from 4–6 February 2026, once again positioning itself as a central meeting point for the global fresh fruit and vegetable industry. Alongside its international exhibition, the event will deliver a comprehensive forum programme designed to address the most pressing developments shaping the sector today and in the years ahead.
Around 200 speakers from industry, research institutions, and applied practice are expected to take part across multiple stages. The programme will be accessible to a wide international audience, with all sessions and panel discussions simultaneously translated into German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian.
Six dedicated stages will operate throughout the event, each focusing on a different aspect of the fresh produce value chain, from production and innovation to logistics and market strategy.
Global markets and trade under the spotlight
The Insights Stage in Hall 21 will explore global market dynamics influencing the fruit and vegetable trade. Sessions will analyse international trade flows, evolving consumption patterns, and the resilience of supply chains. Market experts will examine factors such as pricing pressure, changing consumer expectations, and geopolitical influences, offering data-driven perspectives on how these forces are reshaping global commerce.
From research to the field
Innovation and practical application will take centre stage at the Farming Forward Stage in Hall 3.1. Here, start-ups and established companies will showcase digital tools and agricultural technologies, including sensor systems, automation solutions, and robotics. Controlled environment agriculture will also feature prominently, with input from the CEA Alliance. The programme will culminate in the Frutic Science Symposium, where researchers will present findings on efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainability in production systems.
Market-oriented discussions across the value chain
Located in Hall 23, the Fresh Produce Forum will focus on commercial and market-driven topics. Panels and presentations will bring together perspectives from production, trade, marketing, and research. Key themes include distribution strategies, packaging innovations, and pathways to accessing international markets, offering practical insights for producers, traders, and service providers alike.
Looking ahead to future technologies
The Future Lab in Hall 6.1 will examine emerging technologies and longer-term trends influencing the fruit and vegetable sector. Presentations will highlight pilot projects, automation concepts, and the use of artificial intelligence, with discussions centred on how these ideas are being tested and adopted within real-world operations.
Logistics and cold chain expertise
Logistics-focused content will be delivered at the Logistics Hub in Hall 26. Sessions will address transport and supply chain management, with topics ranging from refrigeration technologies and intermodal transport to port logistics and quality preservation during transit.
These six stages form a structured and forward-looking programme that reflects the operational realities and strategic challenges facing the global fresh produce industry. With its broad scope and international reach, Fruit Logistica 2026 aims to provide valuable insights and dialogue across production, trade, technology, and logistics.
