A fresh addition to cut flower production is making waves in floral design and farm production alike. Limonium Sinzii, a unique creation from renowned breeders Ball SB, is a cross between Limonium Sinuatum and Limonium Perezii. With its rich hues of Deep Blue, Intense Lavender, Lilac, and White, Sinzii lends a touch of sophistication, structure, and texture to any bouquet or floral arrangement.

More than a flower

Limonium Sinzii represents a new era of floral design, where durability meets beauty and tradition merges with innovation. Whether fresh or dried, its presence remains strong, embodying the very essence of timeless sophistication.

Limonium comes from the Greek word “meadow” that refers to its original habitat. Limonium originally grew in meadows along the sea in the Mediterranean. This flower brings to our homes the fresh feeling of being warm and relaxed in a breeze meadow in the Mediterranean. Limonium symbolizes remembrance, success, sympathy and beauty.

  • A result of crossing Limonium Sinuatum with Limonium Perezii to combine the virtues of both varieties – sharp, solid colors and big panicles.
  • Stems grow completely flat, making them easy to pack but giving great volume when crisscrossed.
  • Suitable for bouquets and solid bunches –can be dried with color intact for a long period of time.
  • Plants are hardy and productive, producing high-quality strong stems.

CROP TIME
Perennial. From planting to harvest: 16 weeks.

PLANTING DENSITY
6 Plants /m2 net (1 plant /ft2).

PRE-PLANTING

pH: 5.5 to 6.5
Netting: 2-3 levels

It is necessary to pinch to shape the plant and for an even harvest. Pinch when the plants shows their first stem. Be careful not to pinch too low as stems can be exposed and can cause phytosanitary problems.
