“Endless Green Variety” at IPM ESSEN 2025

From 28 to 31 January 2025, Messe Essen will once again become the world’s premier stage for the horticultural industry. With the theme “Endless Green Variety,” the 41st edition of IPM ESSEN is set to attract over 1,400 exhibitors from 50 countries. The event promises to deliver an unparalleled mix of innovations across plants, technology, floristry, and equipment, drawing professionals and enthusiasts alike.

An Immersive Experience Across Halls

  • Plants (Halls 1, 1A, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, Galeria):
    The plant segment is a cornerstone of IPM ESSEN, featuring nursery plants, young plants, potted plants, cut flowers, and perennials. New this year is the Landgard Order Days Spring Edition in Hall 1A, offering buyers a sneak peek at upcoming seasonal trends. The Gardeners’ Forum in Hall 2 promises to be a hub of activity, providing attendees with valuable insights into the latest young plant innovations and sustainable production methods.

The IPM Trade Fair Cup, themed “Boundless Blooming Community,” will add competitive flair, with talented florists vying for accolades in bouquet and container planting categories.
  • Equipment (All Halls):
    A comprehensive showcase of horticultural tools and solutions, including store design concepts, IT systems, and retail innovations, will be spread across all halls, ensuring every attendee finds something to meet their needs.

IPM ESSEN is a truly international event, with 13 countries hosting joint stands to highlight their region-specific innovations. Key features include:

  • Belgium (Halls 2, 6, 8): Three pavilions from Flanders will showcase 32 companies offering a range of flowering plants, perennials, and young plants.
  • Denmark (Hall 6): Floradania’s pavilion highlights ornamental plants, Christmas trees, and eco-conscious production techniques.
  • France (Halls 2, 7): Under the “CHOOSE FRANCE” banner, exhibitors will present exciting breeding innovations, including the distinctive HALIOS RED ALLEGRO®.
  • United Kingdom (Hall 7): Organised by the CHA, the UK pavilion will feature a diverse array of products, from roses and clematis to cutting-edge LED lighting and bio-stimulants.
