Flower Logistics Africa (FLA) and Perishable Logistics Africa (PLA) are pleased to announce the Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) as an Industry Partner for the upcoming edition, marking a strong alignment around the shared goal of strengthening Kenya’s fresh produce exports and advancing efficient, sustainable, and globally competitive perishable supply chains.
Scheduled for 30–31 March 2026 at Emara Ole-Sereni in Nairobi, FLA & PLA 2026 is Africa’s leading platform dedicated exclusively to flower and perishable logistics. The event convenes growers, exporters, freight forwarders, airlines, cold-chain operators, ports, infrastructure developers, regulators, and global buyers to tackle the most pressing challenges shaping the continent’s perishables ecosystem.

With FPEAK on board as an Industry Partner, the conference will place renewed emphasis on export competitiveness and market access, end-to-end cold-chain reliability, compliance with international food safety and sustainability standards, and closer collaboration between exporters, logistics providers, airlines, and policymakers.
Together, these conversations aim to reinforce Kenya’s position as a preferred and reliable global sourcing hub for fresh produce.
As Kenya continues to consolidate its position as a key supplier of fresh produce to international markets, the performance of logistics systems has become just as critical as on-farm production. Reliable cold-chain infrastructure, regulatory alignment, cost efficiency, and seamless coordination between exporters and service providers are now decisive factors in market success. FPEAK’s involvement at FLA & PLA 2026 brings the exporter’s voice directly into discussions on capacity access, infrastructure readiness, operational efficiency, and evolving buyer expectations.
“In today’s competitive global markets, the integrity of our fresh produce depends not just on how it’s grown, but how it’s moved,” said Patrice Ngenga, Technical Standards and Compliance Officer at FPEAK. “Strengthening logistics and cold-chain systems across Africa is central to keeping products fresh, reducing waste, and expanding opportunities for growers and exporters. By nourishing the entire supply chain, we can unlock greater value for farmers and drive sustainable economic growth across the region.”

About Flower Logistics Africa (FLA) and Perishable Logistics Africa (PLA)
---
Flower Logistics Africa (FLA) and Perishable Logistics Africa (PLA) are flagship industry conferences that bring together the full logistics ecosystem supporting Africa’s floral and fresh produce exports. Organized by Logistics Update Africa, FLA focuses on improving logistics, cold‑chain management, and supply‑chain performance for cut flowers from farm to global market, with discussions on packaging, technology, and freight efficiency that help African growers compete internationally. PLA complements this by broadening the conversation to all perishable exports, including fruits, vegetables, fish and meat, exploring how investment, collaboration, and innovation in transport, cold chains and compliance can unlock Africa’s full potential as a supplier of high‑quality fresh produce. Both events attract growers, exporters, carriers, policymakers and cold‑chain specialists who share practical solutions for resilient, cost‑efficient and sustainable logistics across air and sea freight.
