The CIOPORA Academy Announces September Webinars on Country-Specific PVP Systems and AI Applications

Dr. Edgar Krieger Secretary General

The CIOPORA Academy Webinar Series has announced this year’s second set of lectures for September. The new series is designed for plant breeders, intellectual property attorneys, and professionals in the plant breeding industry and will focus on plant breeders’ rights (PBR) in Brazil and Vietnam and artificial intelligence (AI) applied in plant breeding.

Expert speakers will lead the conversation and answer questions from attendees, who will have the opportunity to learn about some of the most innovative trends shaping the future of plant breeding – from transformative technologies to evolving markets for the green sector.
“We are confident that, just like the first part of the program, this upcoming series of lectures will provide participants with important insights into the latest developments in Brazil and Vietnam, and also about the key role of AI in plant breeding, a ‘hot topic’ across several sectors,” said the Product Manager of The CIOPORA Academy, Katrin Huhnholz.
The CIOPORA Academy Webinar Series is open to CIOPORA members and non-members of our association and offers a unique space to learn more about the plant breeders sector and upcoming challenges.
The registration process is already open at The CIOPORA Academy: www.ciopora-academy.org for both association members and non-members. Visit the association website and check the different options for joining, and also, to access to the video recording of the first series.
