Daily Amsterdam–Nairobi Perishables Freight Flights Launched

14: 05: 2026

KQ Cargo has introduced seven weekly freight flights between Amsterdam and Nairobi, strengthening air cargo connectivity between Europe and Africa and improving transport options for time-sensitive goods.

According to the airline, the enhanced schedule is designed to increase flexibility and position cargo more efficiently into key African markets through its Nairobi hub. The move is expected to support faster, more reliable distribution across the carrier’s regional network.

The expanded operations will utilise both dedicated freighter aircraft and belly-hold capacity on passenger flights, with a particular focus on high-value and time-sensitive commodities such as perishables.

KQ Cargo said the increased frequency will help improve turnaround times and expand overall capacity availability, addressing growing demand for consistent air freight services on the Europe–Africa corridor.

Nairobi will continue to serve as the central transshipment hub, reinforcing its role in consolidating and redistributing cargo across the airline’s wider African network.
